Woman Using Laptop for Telemedicine Appointment

Care At A Distance

Telemedicine is the medical practice of using technology to diagnose and treat patients remotely. If you are too sick to come into the clinic for an appointment, Telemedicine is a great option.

Obviously, Telemedicine isn’t proper for emergency situations like strokes, heart attacks, excessive bleeding, or broken bones. If your situation requires x-rays, lab testing, or other in-person treatments, your appointment should take place in the clinic. Telemedicine is especially useful for simple issues and follow-up consultations.

During the COVID 19 outbreak, we are waiving co-pays on Telemedicine visits! Cash pay patients are only charged $50.

Insurance Coverage

The following insurances will pay for Telemedicine visits:

  • SelectHealth
  • Medicaid of Utah (Traditional and Non-Traditional)
  • Medicare
  • DMBA
  • EMI Health
  • Tricare
  • Wise
  • And many others!

If you don’t see your insurance listed above, call your insurance provider to see if Telemedicine services may be covered. If Telemedicine appointments are not covered by your insurance, you may simply pay the cash price of $50.

How It Works

It's as easy as 1 - 2 - 3 - 4!

1. Make an appointment the usual way by calling the office. If you are a cash paying patient the secretary will collect the $50.00 fee at that time. If you have insurance, your copay will be waived during the COVID19 outbreak.

2. You will receive a link via email for your appointment. You must have a valid email address to do a Telemedicine visit.

3. Go to your email a few minutes before your scheduled time and click on the zoom link (blue hyperlink) in your email. You may need to download and install Zoom onto your device. Once the Zoom application opens, be sure to look at the bottom of your screen and click on the video and microphone icons to unmute yourself and turn on your camera.

4. Anne will join you in the Zoom meeting within 5 to 10 minutes.
